This is a chance to see a world class show in Rochester, NY. Club members have won awards at the Ward World Wildfowl Carving and Caricature Carvers of America Championships as well as other national shows. Our show features birds, fish, caricatures, youth carvings, demonstrations, and more. Of special interest are our soap carving kits for youth (no charge) available while supplies last. Raffle for carvings and carving related items - need not be present to win. Our Show and Competition offers something for all ages with carvings of all shapes and sizes. Information for Competitors:
Registration: Fri. Apr 4th from 3:30–5:30 pm for all; Sat. Apr. 5th 7:30-8:30 am for out-of-town competitors
Competition Divisions and Categories:
Bird Division: waterfowl, sea, shore, and wading; prey and upland game; songbird; all other birds; decorative smoothie; primitive/antique smoothie;interpretive sculpture; miniature; and miscellaneous.
General Division: caricatures, human figures, animals, marine life; holiday and mythical, bark, relief, miniature, and miscellaneous.
Classes: Novice, intermediate, and advanced
Prize money to 1st in Class in Bird and General Divisions.
