Catawba Valley Woodcarvers Club

The 22nd Annual Catawba Valley Woodcarvers Club Competition and Exhibition will be held October 17-18, 2025 at the Hickory Metro Convention Center. This competition is held in conjunction with the 22nd annual Klingspor’s Woodworking Extravaganza. Klingspor has demonstrations of various tools and equipment used in wood carving and wood working.

The Show Theme is Fantasy Halloween Magic. Halloween related fantasy carvings and all Halloween themed carvings will be entered with awards presented for best of each category. Entries can be checked in on Friday, October 17, 2025, between 9:00 AM-6:00 PM and Saturday, October 18th 7:00 AM - 8:45 AM. No mail-ins. Judging will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday.
