Club members have won awards at the Ward World Wildfowl Carving and Caricature Carvers of America Championships as well as other national shows. Our show features birds, fish, caricatures, youth carvings, demonstrations, and more. Of special interest is our soap carving kits for youth (no charge) available while supplies last. We offer something for all ages with carvings of all shapes and sizes. There's something to please everyone. Raffle for carvings and carving related items - need not be present to win. Apr 10th from 3:30–5:30pm for all; Sat. The Northern Alberta Wood Carver’s Association invites you to their 40th Annual Show and Competition, taking place April 17–19, 2026, at the Duggan Community Hall in Edmonton, Alberta.

This milestone event celebrates four decades of craftsmanship, creativity, and community involvement. Our annual show is one of the largest carving competitions in Western Canada, attracting skilled carvers from across the western provinces and the northern United States. The event draws artists, families, and visitors from a wide geographic area and continues to grow each year.

The show features:

• Carving vendors and artisan booths

• Live carving demonstrations throughout the weekend

• Judged carving competitions

• The inaugural Canadian Whittling Championship, launching for the first time in 2026

Charlotte Woodcarvers Club

Our show is April 18 & 19, 2026. It is located at the Worrell Building in Charlotte , NC located at 1228 Elizabeth Ave, Charlotte, NC 28204. This building is on the Central Piedmont Community College campus. Free parking in a parking garage next door. This show is the largest in the Southeast. Our 2025 show included over 700 carvings from 120 carvers with $2,500 in prize money handed out the best carvers. This year, our show theme is "Help! I Need Somebody!" There are vendors, seminars on both days and the Mitch Cartledge Carving Competition.
