Thanks to our carvers in the Oregon Carvers Guild and the Lake of the Ozarks Woodcarvers club for sharing pictures.

For the first time, Lake of the Ozarks Wood Carvers Club invited gourd artists to its show in Camdenton, MO.  Gourd members made a strong showing, both in terms of booths and prizes.  New categories were created for gourds in the annual competition.  They described it as "a terrific opportunity to "show and tell" for two groups that share many carving techniques".  Shown below are some of the carvings from the show.  Congratulations to the club for its open and inviting approach to carving.

Send us pictures from your club Show and Tell and Community Events for sharing!  Send your pictures and a brief explanation with the Subject line: Media Gallery to NWCAweb@gmail.com.

Our sponsorship program is being developed to expand the opportunity for businesses to reach their target audience through the NWCA.  Multiple sponsorship levels and media provide options to choose from website, publications, and more.  Opportunities that we would like to discuss with you.

For  over 70 years the NWCA has been promoting woodcarving and fellowship among its members, encouraging exhibitions and area get-togethers, listing tool and wood suppliers—in short, anything that aids the carver and/or whittler.

Many distinguished professional woodcarvers in the U.S. and abroad share their know-how with fellow members. NWCA proudly lists several internationally famous authors of woodcarving books on its roster.
